Gold Award PSE has announced the launch of its long awaited Gold Award process for Service Operators. This ‘Best Practice’ process helps remove any remaining doubts anyone may have about the quality of the back-up service on offer from PSE members. Contact PSE on: 0121 694 8811 for more details.

Safety Passport Scheme Modules 1 and 2 are now loaded onto the website in the Safety Passport Scheme folder and the test papers can be downloaded on demand.  Module 1, the current DVD remains unchanged, but Module 2 Powerpoint presentation on General Site Health and Safety is new.  Members and their staff wishing to make a start on this process can do immediately. PSE has joined BSI  (British Standard Institute) and is helping to write British Standards for the event industry and for the supply of water to temporary sites

Service Operative Training  PSE has announced that work has started on the production of a second Service Operative training DVD. The subject will cover 'Loading and Unloading goods vehicles and the Securing of Loads. This will form one of the modules of the new Safety Passport Scheme
