About PSE
Portable Sanitation Europe (PSE) was originally conceived as a trade association to represent the interests of a small number of fledgling portable toilet rental companies in 1992. At that time, being a sub division of the Hire Association Europe until 1999, it was agreed that greater autonomy and self governance could be achieved by forming a new and independent association operated and managed by a committee of like minded people.
Today the Association is managed by a Committee of Members dedicated to the improvement of working and social standards within the field of portable and mobile sanitation. |
Collective and Extensive Experience
Membership consists of a wide variety of Companies from one man operators to large multinationals. Collective and extensive experience acquired by our members over many years has helped the Portable Sanitation Industry to deliver professional and high quality sanitation solutions for events and sites nationwide.
As part of their accreditation, all PSE Members must comply with current UK and European legislation on sanitation, Health & Safety, environmental issues and vehicle safety and licensing requirements. |
Raising Standards
PSE Members adopt a unique cleaning procedure to ensure that all portable toilets and associated equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised after every hire.

European Working Group
PSE has a seat on the European Portable Sanitation Working Group to further expand the work so far undertaken and achieved here in the UK to embrace a larger populous within the growing number of states of the European Union.

Affiliations and Support
Portable Sanitation Europe Ltd is affiliated with PSAI in America and SNPSM in France and is supported by Human Focus and HR & Business Solutions Ltd. PSE also has a position on two BSi working
groups, to influence improvement and change on all matters related to our
industry.
